Stripes x Milan, Italy

JUMPER (c/o) | FLATS | HAT (similar)
BANGLES | NECKLACE (c/o) | LIPS

This jumper is awesome! I was going to wear it when we were in Prague (such a beautiful, picturesque city), but unfortunately it was raining most of the time and I was totally under the weather. I ended up spending an entire day in bed which was no fun.

I love the ease of throwing on this jumper with a pair of flats and a sun hat. Such an easy, low-maintenance outfit. It's perfect for travel, running errands, going out on a date, or even to the beach. This particular jumper has an inner-lining so no fret about any underwear lines / bra straps showing through. It's got you covered ;)

As for a travel update (for the few of you wanting to read more about my personal life).....

Milan's been great. We're staying at our third Airbnb this trip and so far, so good! We've been to Budapest, Prague, and Milan now. My favorite city has been Prague- I love the slower-paced old town square. It's a much smaller city so everything is walking distance.

It's been interesting to see how Airbnb has evolved over the past couple years. We traveled throughout Latin America last summer and stayed in Airbnb apartments similar to this trip, however our experience has been totally different. Last summer we had a very interactive experience with our hosts- they would make breakfast for us, provide maps and suggestions of things to see/do, tell us the best places to exchange money, etc. This time around it's a lot more independent- we check in with our hosts then we're pretty much on our own. I'm not sure if it's different because of the location or if Airbnb is just evolving as all businesses do... just an interesting observation. I'd still 100% recommend it to anybody traveling though, just make sure you read all the fine print ;) (i.e. if there's air conditioning, wifi, etc.)

And back to Milan...

We spent all day Saturday at the World's Expo. For those of you that haven't heard of it (I hadn't either before we booked our stay in Milan!), every 5 years there's a large fair where every country creates a pavilion to represent their part of the world. This year's theme was FOOD which we were psyched about. America's pavilion focused on a farm-to-table diet and had a slew of food trucks serving american food. It was a fun / exhausting afternoon. Lots and lots of yummy food:

Pizza
Gelato
Curry
Soup
Pancakes
Fruit
Pizza
Pizza
Ice Cream
Pasta
Smoothies
etc.
etc.

Our diet starts tomorrow.

xo,
Sara
