Outfit Details:
SHIRT // TROUSERS // HEELS (on sale!) // BRACELET
CLUTCH (older style, similar HERE) // SUNNIES

I've styled these pants before, for a more laid-back outfit (see post HERE). I'm absolutely in love with the variety of outfits that these pants create. I decided to dress them up here by pairing them with a pair of heels and a crisp white button-up. This outfit can be worn on a lunch with your girlfriends, at a corporate event, or on a date night.

I'm loving the pull towards looser-fitting pants lately. From joggers to these paperbag trousers,
these pants are EVERYWHERE. They're super comfortable, and if styled correctly, they're very flattering. I love both the soft fabric and fit of these pants. Here's a few tips to best style these pants...

1. Tuck your shirt in. Because these pants are not form-fitting, it's important to accentuate your waistline. This prevents you from looking frumpish. Frumpy is no bueno.

2. Cuff 'em. Roll up the pant legs once or twice in order to show your ankles. Rather than letting the loose leg meet the top of your shoe, let your ankle peek. Once again, this helps the pants from not looking frumpy.

3. Accessorize. Add a feminine touch to your look by accessorizing. I styled this outfit with a chunky pavé bracelet. (see how I styled it HERE with bangles).

cross-body purse in ice blue. great for a night out- love how small it is!
perfect summer sunnies. love the classic ray-bans.

OUTFIT DETAILS:
Shirt: J. Crew | Textured sweater: GAP (older style, similar HERE)
Distressed Denim: Free People | Sunnies: Ray Bans
Flats: Sperry | Crossbody Bag: Rebecca Minkoff | Watch: Daniel Wellington

I've always been in love with texture. I'm the type of girl that walks through a department store and has to feel everything. I love bulky coats, thick cozy socks, and soft cashmere sweaters.

The most dull-looking outfit can quickly transition into an interesting outfit with some texture. I love this cardigan because although it's a neutral color (grey), its texture makes it. It brings it from 'just an old cardigan' to 'wow-look-at-my-freakin-cozy-cardigan'.

I've attached a handful of other textured sweaters that will spice up any outfit below ;)

business casual

Outfit details:
Shirt: J. Crew | Pants: Anthropologie | Loafers: Sperry Top Sider
Clutch: Coach | Watch: Michael Kors | Sunnies: Kate Spade

Big news-- I've accepted an internship offer to work for one of the big four audit firms! (I actually accepted this offer a while ago, but I haven't shared it publicly until now.) I start my internship this summer, just after I finish up spring semester. This summer is going to be focused more around school and work which is okay since our last summer was packed full of travels. I've started to keep an eye out for work-appropriate clothes that are still professional, yet not totally boring.

I'm absolutely in love with these pants from Anthro- they happen to be one of my favorite brands that Anthropologie carries. They wear well and they're super comfortable. While they're still professional, the pattern gives them a fun kick that sets them apart from your traditional 'business' attire.

Loafers: Sperry Top Sider | Bracelets: Alex & Ani

I've decided to mix things up a bit and branch away from my traditional hole-in-the-knees-free-people-denim. I found these *AWESOME* pants at Anthro and loved the soft fabric and color so I went ahead a bought them. I've worn them a lot more than I expected I would. They're so comfortable and the color surprisingly goes with a lot.
Long live comfortable pants!!

Recognize this bra? In case you haven't noticed yet-- I'm in love with Free People. They're a brand I constantly drift towards and I'm now realizing it's probably time to add a little diversity to my closet... *whoop there it is*

Anybody else have this problem? What are your go-to stores to shop at?

This has been one of my favorite go-to outfits from head to toe because it's so comfortable. The salmon lace bra has been a great addition to my wardrobe-- it's comfortable and I'm loving layering it with different tops.
