Santorini!

Ah, Santorini. My absolute number one destination for relaxation. We planned it so we'd be here during our two year anniversary (going strong!), and I'm so glad we did. This place is a DREAM. We splurged a little to stay at a nice hotel for our anniversary, then went to a much cheaper place for the rest of our stay. We ended up getting upgraded a few levels (!) since our hotel room wasn't quite ready by the time we wanted to check in which was super nice. We had our own private pool and a gorgeous view. Those Santorini sunsets never get old- so so romantic.

We ended up staying at Oia (pronounced ee-uh), because we read it was the most scenic. Once we left our nice hotel, we spent most of our time exploring the island. There are so many cute alley ways and incredible backdrops to take photos by. We were here during the peak of the tourist season so if you plan on going- I'd arrange to go during May or October when it's less busy. We didn't end up renting a car, which I think was a good decision because the streets are so narrow, it would have been such a hassle to drive around / find parking.

It was hard saying goodbye to this cute island, David and I definitely plan on coming back sometime.
