5 summer shoe trends not to miss out on

1. Floral-Print Heels
I'm head over heels about floral print! I think it's a fun pattern to mix different colors with, simply because there are so many colors in one print. I also love the feminine touch it adds to an outfit. :)

2. Clogs
I just ordered a pair of red clogs that I'm *anxiously* waiting for. I love the youthful look of clogs: the wood heel, the colorful leather top. What's not to love?

3. Birkenstocks
I've got this nasty love-hate relationship for these shoes! I admit, when I first saw these popping up in stores I was shocked. (Let's be real, they're not the most flattering shoe.) But they've totally started growing on me since then! I've tried them on at least a dozen times, and I hear they are so comfortable. But I haven't come to buying them for myself.... yet. Do you own a pair of Birks? I want to hear your thoughts on these shoes!

4. Sneakers
I'm in love with the light sneaker trend right now because they're so cute, yet so practical. 

5. Platforms
When David and I went to Argentina this past summer, just about every girl on the street was wearing platforms so I caved and bought a pair. I haven't had the guts to pull them out very often since I've been back, but I'm seeing more and more people wearing them lately. Perhaps it's time to dust them off and start wearing them more frequently ;)
